The ECAR symposium (The European College of Animal Reproduction) will take place from the 4th to the 6th July 2019 in Vienna (Austria) at the VetMedUni.

Dr. Nicolas SERGEANT, cofounder and research director at SPQI-4BioDx, will discuss in his talk on the 5th July 2019 about the field results obtained recently with the Pig 4MID® Kits (Ref. 4VDX-18K2). The title of his communication will be “High concentrations of proAKAP4 ensures fertility and prolificity in boars”.

Furthermore, Dr Blommaert (University of Liège) will present his poster entilted: “Sperm marker proAKAP4 ensures sperm quality in post-thawed stallion semen” (D. Blommaert et al. 2019, poster n°18) that highlight the pertinence of the Horse 4MID® Kit to evaluate semen quality.

EuroTier 2018

The new edition of the EuroTier exhibition fair took place from the 13th to the 16th of November 2018 in Hannover (Germany).

SPQI – 4BioDx teams were present to meet with our partners, collaborators from the fiels and the european distributors of our products, the 4MID® kits, to assess sperm quality and fertility.

A.I. VETS Meeting

The 29th edition of the European A.I. VETS Meeting took place this year from the 18th to the 19th of October 2018 in Lucerne (Switzerland) under SwissGenetics supervision.

This European meeting brings together companies, researchers, veterinarians and experts involved in artificial insemination in Europe.

12th International Symposium on Equine Reproduction (ISER XII)

The 12th International Symposium on Equine Reproduction – ISER XII took place in Cambridge (United Kingdom) from 22 to 27 July 2018.

The SPQI – 4BioDx scientific teams and their collaborators were there to present their last results using the Horse 4MID®  kit, on the first biomarker of horse semen quality.

11th Biennial Meeting Association for Applied Animal Andrology (AAAA) 2018

As in 2016, SPQI – 4BioDx scientific teams did participate in the 11th Biennial Meeting of the AAAA (Association for Applied Animal Andrology) which will take place from the 14th to 15th of July 2018 in New Orleans (USA). This event is dedicated to andrology in animals.

Our scientific team presented a poster entitled: “Concentration of proAKAP4 as a pertinent read-out of sperm quality in mammals. Maryse Delehedde, Didier Bloomaert, Nathalie Jouy, Julie Scabello, Hortense Miersman, Thierry Franck, Didier Serteyn, Valérie Mitchell, and Nicolas Sergeant“.
